"I am a film-maker and my eyes are very sensitive to catch people who do work mechanically and people who perform from their heart. And Poonam was this discovery I noticed in a very routine traditional wedding, giving her heart out completely. When she was shooting, I could see she loves people, she loves faces. That's what Poonam brings to the table. She was swaying like a ballet dancer, she was just flowing, and you don't get to see these things very often. There was a photographer who had the same passion, understanding and the emotion which the father was feeling and she captured it. Meet Poonam

Poonam Kotecha is a destination wedding and lifestyle photographer based in Mumbai, India. Over the past decade, Poonam and her team have been shooting weddings professionally in India and around.

Drawn to objects of Love and Beauty from a very young age, her visual curiosity began early. From drawing & painting on walls to scrapbooking, she cultivated a creative spirit that later found expression in fashion and wedding photography. Her work now strikes a harmonious medley of Narrative and Glamour.
